The construction and Building Material Committee of the French Chamber of Commerce (CCFE) in association with Wassef Design Group and M/S Al Mansoury for Contracts Management and Arbitration Practice have given a seminar about the Egyptian revolution and its impacts on construction contracts. It took place on March 18, 2012 at the French General Consulate in Alexandria.
The main topics were:
- Ways to Contractually handle the current circumstances in Egypt under FIDIC Contracts of 1987 and 1999.
- Current, potential and indirect factors affecting cost and time in construction industry
- Your Contractual Approaches for Moving Forward in Egypt , “The Realistic Hope”
The audience was from the top management of construction firms of all disciplines (investors, contractors, consultants) and senior construction engineers of all trades (civil engineers, architects, MEP engineers, and construction lawyers).
